watercolour made easy - landscapes

April 08, 2020

The Covid 19 outbreak lockdown, has given me the opportunity to create some basic illustrated videos that I thought would be helpful. Please feel free to share with anyone who want's to have a go at watercolour painting.

It's amazing what you can create with just 2 brushes and 1 or two colours.

In addition we will be sending out a weekly email for "Inspiration in Isolation".

Please join my mailing list to be a part of it.

Stay safe and well.

I first met Dawn-Marie and her husband Captain Peter Philpott a few years ago whilst traveling on Cunard Queen Victoria. In September 2017 when I was invited to teach my first watercolour class onboard Queen Mary 2 I was delighted to see a friendly face attending the art class - Dawn-Marie.

Already a naturally accomplished artist who has mastered the art of watercolour painting and over the past year she has attended several of my classes, and I have had the joy of witnessing her grow from strength to strength from paining flowers, portraits, seascapes and landscapes using both acrylic and wartercolor mediums. Like every artist we all like to find our niche in the art world and Dawn-Marie had found this in the art of paining portraits of cats.  Her work is exceptional and I have attached a few pictures of her work.  Dawn-Marie is now open to commission work so if anyone would like to have a portrait of their cat please check out her website for details. http://www.ipaintyourcat.com
